Most people think of food when they hear the words vacuum dehydrator, but that is not the whole story. Vacuum dehydration is relevant to an industrial context. Fluids such as oil are used to lubricate heavy machinery. It is common for the lubricating fluid to become contaminated. Water is a common contaminant. It may not seem like such but it has a significantly detrimental effect on the effectiveness of the lubricant. If the lubricant is not working optimally then the machinery is destined for a breakdown. Clearly, that is not a good thing and will most likely result in projects being delayed and higher costs. The vacuum dehydration process removes the contaminants from the lubricating fluid thus keeping the machinery running well.
